"To make" in general, we say ทำ /tam/. This word is also used as " to do" in English.

Pom gamlang tam-ngaan

ผมกำลังทำพิซซ่า
I'm making pizza
when putting this word together with another word, it can form a complete new verb, such as..
Tam aa-haan ทำอาหาร = to cook
Tam ngaan ทำงาน = to work
Tam sed ทำเสร็จ = to finish, to complete
You might have heard this word with "ให้ /hai/" as ทำให้ /tam hai/ or ทำ...ให้ /tam...hai/. When it's put together with "ให้ /hai/" it conveys the meaning of to do something for/to someone
For example,
Kun tam hai pom jep
คุณทำให้ผมเจ็บ
You make me hurt
Kao tam sandwich hai pom
เขาทำแซนวิชให้ผม
She made a sandwich for me
Yaa tam hai pom pid-wang
อย่าทำให้ผมผิดหวัง
